The West Bengal Municipal (Submission of Annual Administration Report) Rules, 1996
As per provision of the act the Municipalities are to prepare their Annual Administration Report every year. In these rules the detail modalities for preparation of the Annual Administration Report have been determined. As per this rules the municipality shall submit their Annual Administration Report of the Municipality during the preceding year to the State Government in the Municipal Affairs Department by the 30th June every year, and shall forward a copy to the Director of Local Bodies, the District Magistrate of the District Concern and each of the Ward Committee. In these report the Administrative as well as financial performance shall be reflected.
